MentalHealthTreatment.ai exists to answer one question well: how does mental health treatment actually work, and what should you do in your specific situation?
What we do
We publish plain-language guides with sources listed on mental health conditions and the full continuum of care — from outpatient therapy and medication management through intensive outpatient (IOP), partial hospitalization (PHP), residential treatment, and inpatient hospital care. We also maintain an interactive assessment that walks you through the same factors a clinical intake would consider and explains which level of care is typically recommended for situations like yours.
What we don't do
We are not a treatment facility. The guides and the assessment do not name, rank, or link to treatment programs, and no treatment program pays to appear here. The phone numbers listed on this site are public resources: 988, the SAMHSA National Helpline, and the NAMI HelpLine.
Who publishes it
MentalHealthTreatment.ai has a business relationship with Palm Beach Recovery Centers, South Jersey Recovery Program, Palm Beach Healing Centers, and Emerald Wellness: the owner of MentalHealthTreatment.ai also holds an ownership stake in these programs. None of these programs owns MentalHealthTreatment.ai, and MentalHealthTreatment.ai receives no referral payments. We think you should know that up front rather than find it out later.
If you use our contact form, your name, email, and message are sent to the owner of MentalHealthTreatment.ai and shared with our help center, which will reach out to you and may talk with you about treatment options, including the programs the owner holds a stake in. How the site is funded and what it collects are laid out on the ownership and disclosure page.
Editorial standards
Guides cite public health agencies, federal regulations, and professional bodies such as NIMH, SAMHSA, CMS, and the American Psychiatric Association, plus peer-reviewed research where a claim depends on it. Sources are listed at the bottom of each guide. Where the evidence is limited or mixed, we say so.
Our content is educational and is not a substitute for professional advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Mental health conditions can involve serious risk to safety; decisions about care should always involve a qualified clinician.
Why the .ai domain
Beyond the guides, we're building interactive tools that make treatment information easier to act on — starting with our guided level-of-care assessment. Everything runs privately in your browser: we don't store or transmit your answers.
Corrections and contact
If you believe something on this site is inaccurate or out of date, we want to know. Reach us through the contact page and we'll review it against current evidence. Messages sent through that form are shared with our help center, as described above.
